MM Design at Picplast 2019 in São Paulo

Story-telling Hospital Trolley Lanco

During the annual Picplast 2019 conference organized by AbiPlast and Braskem, MM Design was invited to present a design case that used rotational molding technology.

Cristine Stuermer, Manager of MM Design Brazil, in the presence of about a hundred company managers and interested parties, presented the case of the Lanco trolley, a hospital drug delivery trolley.

Designed by MM Design, the trolley’s peculiarity is one of complete rotational technology, making  i possible to reduce costs in production and in assembly.

Instead of a metal frame and plastic covers like many of its competitors, this trolley is made in a single block,allowing it to be much easier to assemble while also being more robust due to the use of Polypropylene.  Careful design attention enables this trolley to be modular and can be used in various hospital departments  by using different components.

Based on this technology, the trolley has become a strong and original symbol, which  has characterized the Lanco brand on the market. Cristine concluded her speech by reiterating the importance of design, which is not limited to beauty, but which is concerned with innovation and, in particular for MM Design, who created a competitive factor with a return on investment for the company.
