MM Design Wins the Good Design Award®
MM Design is proud to announce it has received the Good Design Award®, one of the oldest and most prestigious industrial design recognitions in the world, presented by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.
The award celebrates the L3G4, a next-generation fiber laser cutting system developed for Salvagnini — a global leader in sheet metal fabrication solutions. The L3G4 redefines the architectural standard for laser cutting machines with a high-accessibility gantry design that is unique on the market: delivering full access to the work area, superior structural rigidity, and high-precision cutting performance.
The machine features a single laser cutting head, engineered by Salvagnini, capable of processing all machinable materials and thicknesses, and is equipped with the patented DRY-COOLING system for active thermal management of the optical unit. Design and technology work as one: every line of the machine answers to strict requirements in ergonomics, operator safety, and ease of use, a seamless fusion of form and function that defines the future of industrial machinery design.
The award was presented at an international ceremony in Athens, where the L3G4 was recognized among the world's best design achievements of the year. This recognition belongs to the entire MM Design team and to Salvagnini, united by a shared vision: to engineer machines that are also objects of lasting value.
