Design Management Award

The splendid 20th-century framework of Palazzo di Banca Prossima in Milan, hosted the awarding ceremony of the Great Ethical Design award, organized by the historical Plana Association.

Every year, the innovative companies that particularly distinguished themselves are selected and awarded on the basis of strict criteria, by a jury composed of outstanding personages from the design and economic sectors and civil society.

This year the Design Management Prize was instituted for the first time to award the commitment of design studies that stood out particularly for their approach to design, focus on the process and attitude toward the virtuous management of resources.

MM Design was awarded the honorable title, as the first and unique study, which testifies to the commitment of the designers in the three headquarters in Bozen, Milan and São Paulo. The daily dialogues which the designers of the various offices have with each other, make each project even more unique and particular in product design and innovation, with great attention paid to the themes of production, costs, distribution and correct communication with the referral market.

The “creative spirits” team is especially proud of this prize since it underlines the ethical and conscious approach and its management is accomplished with respect to timelines and resources.
