Singapore is ready to kick-off SDW 2023
Less than a month left until Singapore Design Week 2023 (SDW), an eleven-days-long week to highlight the country's unique creativity and mark DesignSingapore Council's 20th anniversary.
The festival's theme, "Better by Design," embodies Singapore's commitment to using design for positive change. From September 21st to October 1st, SDW will feature installations by renowned local curators, including Jackson Tan, Pann Lim, and Ong Ker-Shing, and more than eighty different events, exhibitions, and workshops.
New Design Districts will highlight community charm and immersive design experiences, spanning Bras Basah.Bugis (BBB), Marina Bay, and Orchard Road.
SDW 2023's three pillars -Design Futures, Design Marketplace, and Design Impact- will explore forward-looking design, lifestyle trends, and impactful solutions. The Design Futures Symposium will gather global designers and thinkers to envision a positive future. Design Marketplace will host FIND – Design Fair Asia, the international fair at its second edition organized by dmg events and Fiera Milano. Design Impact will display innovative solutions tackling societal challenges.
