Taiwan & Italy signed the design cooperation memorandum

On December 15, 2022, at "The 10th Meeting of the Taiwan-Italy Economic, Industrial and Financial forum", Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI) and Associazione per il Disegno Industriale (ADI) renewed the design cooperation memorandum. To continue to promote/deepen the bilateral of Design in culture, industry, and talent cooperation and exchanges between Taiwan-Italy.

TDRI not only actively promotes Taiwanese design aesthetics, provides industry guidance, and connects with the world but also has a high vision and mission: to establish the cooperation platform for cross-field integration and cross-industry; to build a creative stage for new generation design talents; to enhance corporate design capabilities for business strategies, develop design-leading enterprises, and promote Taiwan to become a high-end manufacturing center and high-tech R&D center. ADI (Associazione per il Disegno Industriale), the official Italian industrial design association, has been TDRI's international partner for Industrial Design between Taiwan and Italy. Along the way, ADI is the witnesser of Taiwan Design from its development and growth to prosperity. Moreover, through cooperation with TDRI, there will be activities such as the Italian Design Exhibition and Taiwan-Italian Design Forum in Taiwan next March.

The diverse and rich cultural heritages are the nutrition of innovation/creativity. And it always brings positivity when facing "diversity" through open-mindedness and curiosity. Both Italy and Taiwan have diverse and rich maritime cultural characteristics. Italy is the Mediterranean culture, and Taiwan is located in Asia-Pacific. We are excited to look forward the more interaction and cooperation to promote cultures, industries, and enterprises between Taiwan and Italy with the "Design"!
