Taiwan Golden Pin Design Award 2022

The annual "Golden Pin Design Award" selects and promotes high-quality design commending the outstanding performance of designers and the industry. This year, they are from the United States, Japan, mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, etc. In addition, the annual Golden Pin Design Exhibition and Ceremony are the worldwide communication platforms for outstanding award-winning works. 

The 2022 Golden Pin Design Award exhibition and the ceremony will be held in Taipei. This year's theme is "Thumb-stopping creative," observing and reflecting the digital age on modern culture: The pleasing aesthetics and design can allow people to "stop their fingers" for their thinking and creativity in the contemporary era of information explosion. The convenience of modern technology will enable us to browse and appreciate designs on our computers, smartphones, and other devices. Still, we are gradually getting used to passively receiving information instead of actively searching for and learning new things. Moreover, Big Data analysis and AI algorithms determine what we see today. Therefore, this theme contains another layer of significance—the longing that people will end fast-food aesthetics and "take matters into their own hands" to cherish and embrace the beauty around them, observe and listen with their hearts, and start creating things themselves.
