Kind + Jugend: The fair for children’s products

In the trade fair centre of Colonia, the Kind + Jugend fair has just ended. This fair is considered one of the most important international fairs in the children’s sphere with a heavy focus directed on trends and novelties of the sector, spanning from toys to the most innovative technologies.

More than 1000 exhibitors from all over the world presented the sector's complete range of products and services to the many visitors arriving from more than 110 countries. Moreover, only 25% of these were German.

The trade fair also offered a rich and varied program of events, a highlight of these was the presentation for the Innovation Award and the Trend Forum composed of conferences regarding all the most pressing topics of the sector.

Multifunctionality, technology, and design are the inspiring themes on which new products are based with great importance given to the quality and safety of the products. 

Sustainability and environmental awareness have also been at centre stage in line with the sensibilities of younger generations of consumers.
