Milan Art Week 2022

Milan Art Week, a week dedicated to modern and contemporary art which took place between March 28 and April 3, 2022, has concluded in the Lombard capital. It was a splendid setting for visual arts.

Now in its 26th edition, Milan Art Week showcased 150 exhibitors, including well-known and emerging artists and galleries from 21 different countries.

There was a full calendar of events with the participation of internationally renowned artists such as Steve McQueen, Tadashi Kawamata, and many others

The event, while revolving around the Miart, was not centered only in one place, but offered a rich and widespread program incorporating the entire city with exhibitions, performances, workshops, round tables, and guided tours.

Art conquered new spaces during the week. It came out of places usually intended for its exhibition, making the city not only the context of the work, but part of the work itself.

These neighborhood art weeks are very interesting since they are able to animate areas not usually dedicated to artistic initiatives, while also giving visitors a living experience.

Milan Art Week, in celebration of territorial realities and international artists, has confirmed itself as a major event in the world of art, strengthening the identity of Milan as a capital characterized by liveliness, richness, and accessibility of the culture on offer.
