The 2021 Golden Pin Design Award Exhibition

Golden Pin Design Award, established in 1981 in Taiwan, repositioned itself as the “top design award in the Chinese-speaking area,” aiming to gain a leading position in the Chinese design industry and ultimately proposing to the world the idea of a Chinese culture and quality lifestyle.

The award is executed by Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI). It is divided into three separate award competitions – the Golden Pin Design Award, the Golden Pin Concept Design Award, and the Young Pin Design Award. Each award targets different demographics to praise excellent diverse innovation in design.

2021 the Golden Pin Design Award Exhibition is held from 30 Nov. 2021 until 6 Mar. 2022. Nearly two hundred entries from all over the world and have previously won the Golden Pin Design Award and Golden Pin Concept Design Award, breaking the record for the number of exhibition entries displayed. The 2021 exhibition’s theme is “UPLOAD,” which provides an “uploading” platform for designers from various fields to introduce their creative designs, letting more people explore the ingenuity and value behind the design, thereby promoting communication and inspiring more creativity.
