Milano Design Week 2021
From the 5th to the 10th of September, the curtain was raised in Milan for the Salone del Mobile, the Supersalone 2021, which welcomed 60,000 visitors from 113 countries.
It was a strong sign, this accelerator to restart, as was the desire to find Italy as a country aware of its value, which has so much to say to the world in terms of excellence and hospitality. On the wings of creativity capable of letting new ideas fly, Milan presented (in connection with the best of Made in Italy), the courage of a country with strong roots and an equal desire for the future.
Visitors perceived dialogue and collaboration between companies, fitters, organizers, journalists, and sector operators, who were all united to make this edition special and exciting. After so much silence and distance during the pandemic, within the setting of a fully dressed-up Lombard capital, design was finally able to express its physicality in a concrete opportunity to enjoy spaces and products. Additionally, the sustainable and digital dimension made it possible to share events and atmospheres even with those who would have liked to be there in person.
Supersalone 2021 staged the best planning, as well as demonstrated the skillful hand of craftsmen capable of expertly shaping materials in a forward-looking and courageous entrepreneurship. In short, the event included all the ingredients to bring back the thrill of Italian beauty.
