Designed for those who like to surround themselves with significant objects, the “Bombino” represents an appliance which is both beautiful and desirable, while also keeping food and drink fresh. The choice of color palette and the shape of the handle represent a clear recall of the style aesthetic of the 1950s and 1960s, epic years in which many objects were formally characterized. After carefully researching the formal, symbolic and chromatic elements of that period, this project resulted in a product which has exceeded sales expectations and has attracted a broader audience than usual for a niche product
