FROM NATURE TO THE METAVERSE
Applied CMF
The idea is to propose a new aesthetic and decorative feature for marble through the principles of CMF (Color, Material, Finish).Marble interprets nature until it reaches the dimension of the metaverse.

The combination of design and innovative technologies enhances the perceived quality of the marble surface by introducing an attractive aspect suitable for the new interior trends.
From flowers, cells, skins, bone structures to abstraction, to the digital realm. From the physical to the virtual, marble can be declined in countless facets.
Biomorphic Form
The proposal transfers the multiple geometries and the marvelous complex forms of nature onto the marble surface, giving it a particular charm capable of bringing the stone to life transformed into a "moving" element.
Tactile Surface
Another proposal involves prints and engravings developed in a relief design to confer additional charm to the surface. From geometric patterns to organic shapes, from textures with rough effect to ultra-thin ones, passing to the effect that reproduces knitting processes to the marble veins in relief, almost as if they were details of skin.
The Aesthetics of the Metaverse
Exploring the boundaries between digital and real, physical and virtual, MM Design experiments with the combination of the natural material with a long history, marble, by proposing it through new metallic surfaces, ultra-reflective finishes, iridescent effects, and dichroic color shades. The reflective "mirror" effect is combined with the marble surface, or the transparent metallic reflection shows the natural texture of marble with surprising color shades and reflections.
The moodboard, developed on a panel measuring 140 x 180 cm, collects examples of specific treatments on marble surfaces that combine advanced engraving technologies with those using thin layers of metallic deposition film. From nature to the metaverse, marble.
