Center Ball Head is a photographic tripod ball head designed by MM Design for Gitzo, a leading manufacturer of professional camera tripods. The brief was to create a compact head that could also mount onto mountaineering and travel tripods.
As a result of certain specifications, the size of the head had to be compact, with a triangular shape that would perfectly house the folded tripod legs.
The geometry of the head follows its function, built around the needs of professional photographers adjusting the regulating knobs to set up a shot or capture a panoramic image without vibration. The materials and finishes stay true to Gitzo’s tradition, while new colour schemes give the head a strikingly modern look. Every detail was designed with care, making the Gitzo head a top-class professional product and a symbol of innovation in photography.
