The design had to first study excellent visibility and the best ergonomics of the driver’s seat and propose an innovative concept of the cabin with the front glass curving and slanting down towards the road to give the operator a good view of the roadside and the fore clearing head. Another important aspect was the introduction of a swing-around control panel that provides the driver with precise and constant information with just one glance. Fixed to the floor, this panel can be adjusted as needed.

The Project

The innovative cab

The joystick is positioned on the right arm rest, so that a simple one-handed operation can command the front clearing head and with a mere wrist-movement avoid the possible obstacles that may appear during the snow removal operations.

Each detail of the cabin’s interior was studied to confer maximum comfort to the driver and in this case, also signifies safety at the wheel.
