Reducing, removing the superfluous, without losing practicality. Exploring, taking hints from other worlds. Inspiration thus comes from bionics, from the study of bone structures, extremely lightweight yet solid and resistant.

The goal is to transfer the hint into a concept: imagine a thin layer of cartilage that protects the foot and is only thickened in the area most solicited by the load. Load and area of highest solicitation are studied using a careful ergonomics analysis. 

In doing this, only the material that is strictly necessary is used, reducing weight to a minimum without compromising practicality and reliability

The journey now continues in search of a mark able to best communicate the idea of lightweight and performance. The thicker material parts are intertwined in a mesh that guarantees mechanical seal and evenly distributes the weight.

And it is the precise design of this mesh on 2 levels that makes Masterlite a one-of-a-kind ski boot with an innovative formal and functional approach. A mark able to communicate lightness.
