The new generation platform project of coffee makers was presented to a very selective group of journalists reporting on design, the economy, fashion and taste.
The Y1 coffee marker was designed by MM Design, developed in collaboration with Illy’s R&D, supervised by the company’s Art Direction and introduced into a new context: to be marketed primarily on the internet and directed at generation Y.
Illy relied on the Future Concept Lab of Milan to study the demands of this new target group of young people between the age of 25 and 35 and the results were presented by Francesco Morace.
