Workshop University of San Marino
The workshop held by our company at the Università degli Studi della Repubblica di San Marino has just ended. The students, guided by professionals in the sector, attained interesting results..
From September 21st to 26th, more than 150 students were involved in an intensive projectual experience, coordinated by 7 international designers.
The topic chosen, Design and the Territory, was part of a programme of cooperation organised by the University and several production companies and institutes in the area interested in developing common research and experimentation.
MM Design was invited to organise one of the seven design workshops, planned and managed by Günther Kuhn, with whom a group of students were able to work closely, in a mutually profitable exchange.
Emphasising the sharing spirit of this educational experience with the local institutions and production companies, two open meetings were also held at the University.
During the two evenings, Alberto Bassi, Director of the Degree Course in Industrial Design at San Marino, discussed with the designers involved in the project the question of sustainability, of usability of products and the ethics of the designer.
