Virus Lite
Design combines formal, technical and functional aspects, developing products and breaking layouts, as for example the innovative Freeride shoe awarded with the ISPO Outdoor Award.
The judges define Virus Lite as an original product for its technical solutions and design, as well as for its functionality and light weight.
Developed by Glen Plake, spokesperson of the company Dalbello, Virus Lite was designed by MM Design with the purpose of meeting the demands of freeriders, providing shoes suitable for walking on rocks and snow to then reach the point of downhill skiing.
Therefore, the shoe must also have excellent performance for skiing.
The patented design concept Cabrio Design with central apron divided in 2 parts, enables the correct movement of feet while walking or skiing, thanks also to its technical design, its shape and the characteristics of the materials used.
The shells and cuffs provide optimal foot closure thanks to a new buckle design achieved with a thin harmonic steel plate, protected with an enfaced strip made of engineering polymer.
