Red dot Design Award : “Honourable Mention” of Goldeneye
In order to portray the excellence of design worldwide, on June 29th the award ceremony will be held in a single frame for the winning products in Essen, at the red dot historical museum, UNESCO’s world heritage.
The red dot award is certainly one of the most important and most acclaimed competitions for design. It is a worldwide award of fame that awards projects that are distinguished for their innovation, functionality and design.
Among the 3,231 products in the competition that come from 49 countries, a place of honour was reserved for the Goldeneye, the X ray TV camera scanner, designed and devised by our company for Microtec.
The judges composed of worldwide famous figures conferred the “Honourable Mention” award for "the accurate attention given to the general accordance of the shapes and attention to detail".
Through the accordance of shapes, inspection solutions and X ray protection, the Goldeneye design provides high level technology expressed by Microtec, a company operative in the control electronics industry.
Goldeneye is a sophisticated measuring control device for beams and planks used in the wood industry, which are subsequently used as architectural elements for general constructions.
A great recognition to the hard work and collaboration among the company and the design firm for several years now, have created various products, fitted into a coordinated product line as design, colours and graphics.
