An exhibit on sustainability at the Furniture expo in Milan.
In recent years, the “Fabbrica del Vapore” has stood out for its coherent stand and strong identity at the “Fuori Salone” event offered by the city of Milan during the week of the Furniture expo, attracting constantly larger crowds thanks to the creation of an inventive workshop that examines the connection between design and social questions.
At the 49th International Furniture expo, FDVLAB, in partnership with the Ottagono magazine, introduced “Posti di Vista – Green Block” aimed to associate the Fabbrica del Vapore with key concepts such as: Sustainability, Eco-compatibility, Energy Efficiency, Urban landscaping design, Networks.
Our studio was invited to participate with three highly eco-sustainable projects: Masterlite, Tabula and MiniMax, an innovative tunnel that saves water and energy and that is constructed with eco-compatible materials.
The exhibit and projects on display provide a peek at what’s in store for the 2015 Expo.
